Since settling in and raising my family in the beautiful Clearwater area where we are surrounded by some of nature’s most spectacular backdrops, I knew I wanted to make showing off this spectacular setting a priority. I wanted to offer support and services to anyone looking to create lasting memories through a special event, both to those who reside here and in the surrounding areas as well as to those who are visiting and experiencing everything our gorgeous corner of the world has to offer.
Creating lasting and supportive relationships with local vendors and venues is a top priority at Living In Love. Not only does this allow me to cultivate an environment of mutual support and collaboration but ensures that I can knowingly and wholeheartedly provide my clients with vendors, that I truly believe, will help to create lasting memories.
In the heart of Clearwater, where the rivers whisper secrets and the forests guard dreams, there lies a tale of love and enchantment that unfolded under the careful orchestration of Living in Love Events. This is the story of Jenna, our cherished team member, and Nick, her Knight in shining armor.
As their nine-year anniversary approached, Nick knew he wanted to create a moment that would forever be etched in their hearts. But instead of the expected date, we crafted a day brimming with magic and surprise. It all began with a simple gift: a certificate for Jenna to have her hair done by the talented Eleanor Collins of the Collective Hair and Beauty (A Living in Love Vendor). Little did Jenna know; this was the first step on a path to a day she would never forget.
Living in Love Events and Vendor Collective is a sanctuary where dreams take flight and vendors unite to create extraordinary experiences. Jenna, who had recently joined our family to support social media and content for my business and our trusted vendors, didn’t even think twice when I suggested we turn this day into a chance to get some promotional shots. With her unsuspecting heart full of excitement, she set off for a day of beauty and pampering.
I suggested that we include Tianna Weniger of Glow-Up beauty bar in on the content day. I voiced how she needed some new photos for the current brochures she was working on. Hair and makeup. Check!
Throughout the day, myself, Chrystal Augustine, and Shelby Parr of Petal and Pearl Photography, popped in to capture behind-the-scenes moments, ensuring Jenna remained blissfully unaware of the grand surprise awaiting her.
With Jenna’s hair and makeup perfectly done, the stage was set for the next act. She was invited to a “content” photo shoot at the serene North Thompson River Provincial Park with Petal and Pearl Photography. Jenna, believing it was all part of her role, arrived at the park, where the real enchantment began.
As we strolled down a wooded path, the air was filled with the sweet melodies of romantic songs, played softly by a hidden speaker nestled among the ferns. Jenna’s eyes sparkled with curiosity, but she remained unaware of the magic woven into every step. Turning a corner, she was greeted by a sign that read, “This way to happily ever after.” Tears welled up in her eyes as the realization dawned that this fairy tale was hers.
The path, adorned with stunning florals and rose petals supplied by the incredibly talented Alana of Old Town Gift Shoppe, and lined with photographs capturing precious moments of Jenna and Nick’s journey, led her to a picturesque beach. Here, a live guitarist, Brent Cooper and singer, Sita Rebizant, played a live serenade, filling the air with romance. Nick stood waiting, a look of pure love in his eyes.
Beside a lace tepee, with a romantic setup and the river as their witness, Nick asked Jenna the question that would change their lives forever. Jenna, radiant and overwhelmed with joy, said yes. They embraced lost in love and slow danced on the shore of the North Thompson River. Kane Hall, our videographer, captured every heartfelt moment, ensuring these memories would be cherished for a lifetime.
As the sun set on this perfect day, Jenna and Nick were surrounded by the love and support of everyone who made this moment possible. From Sandra Augustine and the park staff at North Thompson River Park to our setup assistant, Tera Selter, every detail was meticulously crafted to create a day of pure enchantment.
Jenna now has videos, pictures, and memories of the day she said yes to becoming Mrs. Jenna Knight, all thanks to the collaborative spirit of Living in Love Events and Vendor Collective. This fairytale engagement is a testament to the magic that happens when love, creativity, and community come together.
